      In 1901 part of the parish of Lambeth, which until then had been part of the parish of Streatham, moved from Wandsworth to Lambeth Registration District; their being in this area in 1901 (see account of Emma's life) adds to the liklihood that Tom, who must have died before Emma remarried in 1909, was the Thomas Newing who died in Lambeth District in 1908.
