    • GRO ref: Cooper, Ellen to Goatham, Ernest Charles q2 1892 Ross RD 6a 911 (actual church from GOONS GRO marriage index place search (members tool)

Ellen must be the "Nellie" who Auntie Ethel spoke about being unable to come to terms with her son "Harry" 's death.  I was told Harry died aged 8, Nellie kept things as they were when he died.  Auntie Ethel said the father was Charles and lived at Trinity Hill - I guess he used his second name, and his address in 1911 is Trinity Sq so that fits. The 1911 census is consistent with this couple, too, showing that they had had only 1 child who had died. The son's name and age do not quite agree, but the burial register does show the family were resident in Trinity Square (but of the parish of St. John's - does this mean that not all of Trinity Square was in Holy Trinity parish?)
