Shows banns were read for "Charles Whitehead & Emma Bond both of this Parish".
The Banns register shows Banns were read on the dates shown, but clearly this can't be: these were Tuesdays, not Sundays. The banns may have been read in September, the three dates given were Sundays that month, but the previous entry clearly shows September with these dates so it looks as though the entry for Charles and Emma deliverately did not show the same. Maybe the scribed could not remember the dates and carelessly entered the same; they may actually have been read on 14th, 21st and 28th October. That would have fitted will with a wedding on the 30th.
