Middle name from death registration
Although both the 1911 census and death registration index suggest she was born about 1875, she may well have been reducing her age a little as she was older than her husband. As the death registration index shows her as having the middle name Margaret the following seems most likely to be her birth:

There is no registration for either date of an Elizabeth CONNELL whose birth was in the City of London, which the 1911 census gives as the place, but the Elizabeth Margaret whose birth registration is shown above was living in the City by the time of the 1881 census.
The Elizabeth Margaret CONNELL b 1973 had married to George William DRAKE in 1894, was with him in 1901 census, but must have left him in or before 1902, assuming her new partner Frederick / Nathaniel was Marie's father, as Marie was born July 1903. Further evidence that I have the right Elizabeth CONNELL is that by 1901 Elizabeth's mother had been widowed and remarried and was living as the wife of Charles WILSON, in Belvedere - the place where Marian / Marie YABSLEY / SPENCER was born a couple of years later.
George William DRAKE did not die until 1940; Elizabeth still having a husband alive may well be the reason she and Frederick (Nathaniel) were slow to marry, although they did not wait until George had died, which may explain their names changes.
Whilst I am happy enough that the evidence is good enough to include Elizabeth on this tree, if I wanted to research her ancestors I would get her marriage cert. and check if it gives her father as brick layer / labourer John Connell.
