- Being a widow the information was not required, but luckily for us as it often was the information about length of marriage and children was filled in on the 1911 census. Sadly it shows that Emily had had 11 children with Walter, only 5 of whom were still living.
The 4 I hadn't found in censuses died in infancy, being born and dying between the same censuses so not appearing in any.
Very sadly so many Boormans died in infancy I can't work out from the BMD registrations which 4 children these were.
However, the baptisms at Wormshill and Rainham provide the answers.
