  	After 1871, as with her mother up until then, this was probably her death: GRO ref: Peachey, Anne q2 1877 aged 49 Westbourne RD 2b 241 although Westbourne RD was in Sussex it was not where Ann had been living, but the age is correct for her. Also, Westbourne covered Bosham where her mother and brother were living in 1881, so it seems probable that the family had moved to that parish by 1877.
  Buried	There is no burial indexed on FS as at 29 Nov 2019 for an Ann(e) Peachey in Sussex in 1877 which might confirm or otherwise that the death was of this Ann.

  	From the Sussex Marriage Index CD Shows William Peachey, widower, married Rachel Bacon, by licence, with date and place; no other information given. (The BT images on FS go from 1823 to 1825 with no entries for 1824) Rachel seems to have been from much more humble origins than William. I wonder if she went to work for William, either to look after the children after his first wife, Elizabeth, died or was already working for the family at the time of Elizabeth's death. With William and Rachel's first child baptised less than 6 months after the marriage it is easy to see that the marriage may have been precipitated by the pregnancy, but it is good to see that William was ready to do the decent thing and make Rachel his wife and did not let a class difference stop him. From both his description of her ('my dear wife Rachael') and his provision for her in his will William does appear to have really loved Rachel. It will be interesting to see the PR entry, and in particular to see if Rachel made her mark or signed her name. When Rachel married William she acquired 6 step-children (2 of the 8 children of William's first marriage had died in infancy). The 5 step-sons and 1 step-daughter were aged from 10 to 20, i.e. the oldest was only about a year younger than Rachel herself!
