  	GRO ref: CURNING [sic], Edward q2 1846 Kingsbridge RD 9 201; GRO online index shows age at death as 83 and also has surname as Curning. It is easy to see how Cuming might be mis-read as Curning. Whether this error is due to unclear handwriting on the original registration or the GRO copy is unknown. (There is no entry for an Edward Cumming or variant in the GRO index, and this fits well with the burial record)
