    • Probably the Susannah Issell who was placed by the Diptford overseers as an apprentice with John Follett, yeoman, in 1754. Not yet seen, this would almost certainly have been to last until she was 21 and she would not have been allowed to marry.
      However, this Susanna clearly did marry - maybe she became pregnant and the apprenticeship ended early.
