Children variously identified from baptism records and birth registration index (Maddock and similar sounding with a mother's maiden name of Walker); confirmation for some from the 1851 census. Some only from the 1841 census, when with children identified from these other sources; no relationship shown in 1841 so these are just assumed to be children of Samuel and Elizabeth.
Jane is shown as the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth on this tree though there must be some doubt about this. I suspect she may really have been an illegitimate granchild; it would probably be necessary to buy a copy of her birth cert. to check this.
