    • (Research):A James Lambeshed was baptised in Ilsington in 1569, son of Henry. Ilsington is quite near Wolborough, and there is no baptism to be found in Wolborough PRs, so it seems possible that he was the James who married Elinor. He appears to have married first in Ilsington in 1594 to 'Freswed Degon' - need to check if his first wife had died before the marriage to Elinor.
      However, a James Lambshed also married in Ilsington in 1606 (no baptism of a later James found there whose marriage this could be).
      More likely Elinor's husband was a different James; most parishes in the area do not have PRs that go back far enough to find him.
