    Notes
    • The deaths column in the Liverpool Echo of 29 Jan 1917 included two entries for Richard Moore, one being put in by 'His sorrowing Fiancée, Florrie'.
      Her entry included the lament:
"If I could have raised his dying head,
      Or heard his last farewell,
My grief would not have been so great
For him I loved so well."

Who was Florrie and what became of her?
If you know I would be pleased to hear.
