      IF this is the correct marriage, why so far from Kirdford?
      Why the gap before the 1st child - was there one or 2 born / baptized elsewhere?
      (A Joseph Court son of James and Mary was baptised in Stalisfield Kent in July 1778, but I think this too far to be likely to be a child of this James and Mary)
