Married - I have no evidence that Mary and Michael (junior) were brother and sister, nor that they were children of Michael (senior). However, I don't believe it was coincidence that Irish born Michael junior and Mary should both appear in the same registration district around the same time, nor that Michael senior should die there.
If they weren't a father and two children of his I think they were at least closely related.
