Despite his name being recorded as 'Charles' rather than 'James', I believe this is the baptism of James. A 9 year old son James is found with Mary in 1851, there is no other record of Charles (he is not with Mary in 1851 and no death registration or burial record). There is a birth registration for James but no baptism, unless this is it.

Henry Wild may have been Mary's uncle with this name. Witnesses were usually young family members, e.g. siblings rather than parents, but Henry was one of
her mother's younger brothers, aged about 28 at the time of the marriage. (He could though have been a cousin; some of her mother's 12 brothers could have had sons old enough. I have not researched (and have no plans to research) their families.)
