Hannah GOTHAM
Set As Default Person -
Name Hannah GOTHAM Relationship
with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born Est 1784 - ** I am just guessing that Hannah might have been a daughter of John and Hannah **
The reasons for this guess are:
1. (a) I think the John who I am guessing was her father may well have lived in Topsham;
(b) Hannah married a Thomas Mullens;
(c) In Topsham in 1747 an Ann Gotham married one John Mullen.
Could Thomas Mullens be a relation of John - possibly even a son of John and Ann, and so Thomas and Hannah met as cousins?
2. There is quite a gap between the baptisms of James and Samuel - it seems likely there were more children.

- From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 29 Sep 2016)
"805 Thomas Mullens and Hannah Gotham both of this Parish were married in this
Church by Banns this third day of October in the year 1802 by me J. Greville A: M
This Marriage was solemnized between us ~~ Thomas Mullens, Hannah Gotham
In the presence of ~~ Chas. Eyles, Wm. Goodson"
(Charles Eyles had married the same day; all signed)
I have seen the BT as well as the PR, the only difference in the wording is that 'Curte.' was written after A M - it is clear from other entries in the PR that he J Greville was the curate.
