A Thomas, son of Thomas was baptized in Stokeinteignhead in 1581; a Thomas, son of Thomas, presumably the same one, was buried in the parish in 1590. Perhaps this Thomas was another son of the same father, keen to pass on his name, but there were several Cade families in the parish around this time - it would be unsafe to assume this was the case.
Gender Male Died Aft 1650 - Living when his wife died, from the description of her in the burial register as 'wiff of Thomas Cade'. No obvious burial found, perhaps he died in another parish, especially if in old age he went to live with a daughter, or maybe he was a mariner and died at sea.
