Age given as 36, 47, 50, 57 and 68 (suggesting born sometime between 1833 and 1844)! As the earlier censuses are likely to be the most accurate (she is not likely to have made herself older than she was was in the earlier ones) she was probably born c. 1834. Death certificate gives her age as 72, suggesting born about 1841 but that would be based on the age Ann presented herself as to her son Thomas.
Could she have been Hannah, the daughter of John Gottam / Gotham and his first wife, Hannah Till, who had a daughter Hannah baptised in 1829 whose fate is otherwise unknown to me?

Family Samuel / William GOTHAM, [Did he exist?], b. Est 1832, d. Between 1870 and 1881 (Age ~ 38 years) Married - It seems Ann was probably not married, and her blacksmith husband Samuel a fiction.
When her daughter Maud's birth was registered, though, she gave the maiden name of Boulton. Perhaps this was the surname of Maud's father.
Whether Ann's children had the same father or (as seems more likely) different father's I do not know.
