      Although there were quite a number of births of Chalotte Howells registered, this is the only Liverpool one in the right time period, and the dob given in the death registration index matches that given when she was baptised.
      Given as 27 Jan 1898 in 1939 registration, then probably 'corrected' to 02, but this may apply to the (closed) line above. Maybe Charlotte pretended to have been born in 1902 to reduce the difference in age between her and her second husband.

      Is the marriage of this Charlotte Gotham? - she would have been aged 64 by this time. I think it is as there seems to be no other Charlotte Gotham, by birht or marriage, and in addition no burial of Charlotte as a Gotham (though search for the latter relying on what is on FreeBMD as at 13 Dec 2014, not complete)
