    • There seem to be 2 baptisms of a Sarah Whidborne in Dawlish about a month apart, both daughters of Samuel and Mary.
      I think there is probably an error here somewhere. Unless a burial was accidentally recorded as a baptism, I think the baptism must have been a private one at home, and the second entry must be for the child being received into the church.
      The picture is muddied by the birth date being recorded on both occasions but not agreeing - 7 Apr in the first entry, 27 Apr in the second, close enough for an error here.
