Samuel George (“George”) GOTHAM
Set As Default Person -
Name Samuel George (“George”) GOTHAM Relationship
with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born 21 Mar 1824 Marylebone, London, England
- Date from baptism register
Baptised 4 Jul 1824 St. Marylebone Parish Church, Marylebone Road, London, England
[1] Gender Male Residence 1841 Upper Marylebone Street, Marylebone, London, England
- George was living in what appears to have been a lodging or boarding house. It was headed by 75 year old (rounded down, so could have been nearly 80) Hannah Baker. Too old to be George's mother, could it be his grandmother? I think it's possible but unlikely. No two people in the house had the same surname, but 4 of the 5 men other than George were shown as tailors, so they had something in common (the other was a cabinet maker). No occupation was shown for Hannah, nor for 4 of the other 5 women, but the youngest, age rounded down to 30, was a milliner.
