"No 1625 Aaron Cudmore of this Parish
      Bachelor (&)
Ann Gotham of this Parish Spinster were
Married in this Church by Banns
this 2 - - Day of June in the Year One Thousand Seven Hundred
and Seventy two By me John Harbin Curate
This Marriage was solemnized between Us Aaron Cudmore, Ann Gotham [both signed]
In the Presence of William Burges, Anthony Parker [both signed]"

Looking for an Ann(e) Gotham (Devon 'Gotham' or Kentish 'Goatham') who might have married in London in 1772, as a spinster or widow (although the entry says 'spinster' I wasn't assuming this was correct) I could only find this Anne, from Bridestowe. Her sister Caroline has married about 30 miles from Bridestowe, in Exeter, but was it really likely that Ann would have married in London? It wasn't as though any of her siblings had moved there.
I was a bit doubtful, but started looking to see if she had witnessed any of her siblings marriages (so I could check if the signatures matched). Before I had checked them all I spotted that an Aaron Cudmore was a witness at her sister Caroline's second marriage (in Plymouth). Consequently I am reasonably confident this is the right Ann.
