    • Actual date from the 1939 registration; 1911 census gives her age as 18, implying born 1892 if date and month are correct.
      No place of birth beyond the country known from the 1911 census as she and her husband were in Ireland, where only the country was required for those born outside of Ireland. However, there are only 4 Annie Potts (including 2 with 2nd Christian names, never seen for this Annie) whose births were registered in Q3 1892 or Q3 1893 as would be expected from the above possible birth dates. One of these 4 was in Rochdale; given where Annie and William married I think it was almost certainly this Annie.
      (The other 3 births were registered in Worksop, Brecknock and Kidderminster, so none was close to the Rochdale area)

      I believe William married Annie POTTS rather than the other bride as there is a birth of a GOTHAM with mother's maiden name of POTTS in 1913. That was in Plymouth RD but despite marrying in Rochdale RD William's birth and death were registered in Plymouth RD so that is consistent with him being the father in the 1913 birth.
