    • FamilySearch shows a John Gotham, son of John baptised in April 1660.
      The PR images on FMP do not appear to have this, but they do have a loose sheet, writing consistent with that period, showing a birth rather than a baptism, suggesting interregnum, for a John son of John born April. Later than month the PRs return to recording baptisms rather than births.
      Would this have been 1660? That was the year of the restoration, but Charles II did not land until May 23 and wa only crowned on 23 April 1661.
      It seems probable that it was about 1660 or 1661 - need to check other registers to see exactly when they resume recording baptisms. 1661 would fit in with a return to baptisms with the coronation.
