Gender Male Residence 1678 Molash, Kent, England - From archives catalogue entry, which I am sure must refer to this Hercules (all the others involved in the case were 'of Chartham', where Hercules was presumably living not long before (most of his children appear to have been baptised there) and Molash is also near Boughton Aluph, where he was subsequently buried.
Died - Left a bequest in his father's will, written probably in 1651; assuming I have the right children then still living 1675. And assuming I have identified his son Richard's marriage correctly then after 1689 when he gave consent to his that marriage.

This Hercules because he does not seem to have been buried in Chartham, where most of his known children were baptised, and by a process of elimination - assuming those baptised in Hernhill were the ones buried there, and that his Hercules son must have been the one who moved into Canterbury.

Abt 1593, bur. 18 Oct 1661, St. Laurence’s Church, St. Lawrence in Thanet, Kent, England (Age ~ 68 years) (Mother) Notes - (Research):I haven't really tried to work out what became of this Hercules yet, after having children baptised in Chartham. I think they were his - mother named as Sarah, and whilst Sarah was a common enough name it would not have been too much of a coincidence if another had married one, the fact that Hercules and Sarah disappear from St. Lawrence and the dates of the children fit in well with it being this Hercules.
A Hercules Hills was buried in Boughton Aluph in 1694 (the same day as a son John) - possibly this Hercules, I haven't yet researched them enough to have an idea. A probate inventory survives and might give a clue. A widow Sarah Hills was buried in the parish in 1704, and an Elizabeth married in 1688 who could be his daughter, but no other obvious links to sons there.
