There was a Roger Phillipps having children baptised in Loddiswell before this couple married; I haven't tried to work out whether the same Roger in a previous marriage or a different one. I think the children shown here were the children of this couple but if important to your ancestry then more research to check would be advisable. (There was also a Roger Philp having children around this time; the closeness of baptisms to those of Roger Phillips children mean this cannot possibly be a variant spelling of the same person)
