Gender Male Died Yes, date unknown Notes - (Research):Some trees merge Stephen and Susan, parents of Samuel, Susanna and Margaret with Ephraim and Susan, who married in Aylesford in 1723. The date and location of the marriage make sense, and a son Ephraim baptised in Wrotham in 1725 seems to fill the gap neatly.
Unfortunately, it is clear they are NOT the same couple. As well as son Ephraim, Ephraim and Susan had a son Thomas baptised and buried in Plaxtol in 1728 - hardly compatible with having Samuel, baptised and buried in Detling the same year! Also, they had a daughter Elizabeth buried in Plaxtol in 1730 - when would they have squeezed in having her? Clearly the idea the 2 couples were the same is wishful thinking combined with bad research.
At the time of updating this note (26 Aug 2019) although FMP have PRs for the greater part of Kent not all are indexed. I am hoping once they are that Stephen and Susan's marriage will appear. It could, though, have been in the Medway area (PRs on the Medway council website, not on FMP).
