Thomas RAND
Set As Default Person -
Name Thomas RAND Relationship
with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born Est 1662 - Estimated date based on date of marriage
There was a Thomas baptised in Newcastle in 1652. Whilst it is possible that it is this Thomas, it is improbable. A link is made on FS to a 'death' (more likely a burial) on 4 Feb 1659. Even were this to be wrong it is likely that there are other births, either not yet indexed online, possibly in PRs that don't survive or illegible in surviving records, or not recorded because of the interregnum or in registers kept during the interregnum were subsequently destroyed. It would be very unsave to assume the Newcastle Thomas to be this one without other evidence.
Another, perhaps more likely, possibilitiy is a Thomas Rand baptised in Earsdon on 7 Dec 1669. However, this would mean he was only 20 when he married, which would have been unusually young for the period.
Gender Male Buried 12 Jul 1740 St. Alban’s Church, Earsdon, Northumberland, England
- If Thomas was buried in Earsdon this was probably his burial.

Shows Thomas Rand married Elliner Dagleese
Given the dates their children were baptised it seems probably this was the marriage of the parents of Margaret et al, though the baptisms only name their father.
