Catharine JOHNSON
Set As Default Person -
Name Catharine JOHNSON Relationship
with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born Abt 1761 - Probably daughter of Richard, baptised in Woodhorn in 1761, or daughter of William, baptised in Woodhorn in 1763.
A Francis Johnson of Woodhorn died in 1836, leaving a will written in 1832. The age of that Francis points to him being the one baptised in Woodhorn in 1765 (in any case, no other Francis had been baptised in Woodhorn that could be the will writer). In that will he made a bequest to his sister Catharine. This Catharine (wife of Robert Brown) had died by then so Francis cannot have been her brother. The 1765 baptism shows Francis was the son of William, so presumably this Catharine was the daughter of Richard.
In addition, a Catherine Johnson was buried in Woodhorn in 1837, aged 74 which suggests she was the one who was baptised in 1763.
