Reason:
Oswell's uncle, Sampson Grills, left him five shillings. The bequest along with that to another nephew, Sampson Grills, are away from the bequests to their parents, Sampson's siblings, but just before bequests to a number of godchildren, most of whom, like Oswell and Sampson Grills, were left five shillings. Both the position and amount suggest to me that Oswell and Sampson were also godsons.
