Shows Ernest Bertie Uren SANDERCOCK, parents William and Emily, father a mason, resident Westgate Launceston. i.e. it appears that, presumably by accident, Ernest's baptism was recorded with his surname (his father's surname) as a Christian name, and his mother's maiden name given as his surname. This would not be surprising if he had been illegitimate, but the inclusion of both parents names in the register and his birth registration being the year after they married, along with his age in subsequent documents, all suggest he was legitimate.
