  Married	Francis wife named in the Surrey vis (1623). Shown as Edith Barton in transcription of data from Mitcham Pedigrees Book (held by SOG; index on SOG data online, available to members) Francis' uncle Thomas in his will written in 1568 refers to "Fraunces Muschampe Anne Muschampe and Katherine Muschampe Three of the Daughters of my Cosinne Fraunces Muschampe". Elsewhere he refers to nieces as cosins, so it is in keeping that he might refer to Francis as a cousin rather than a nephew, although he does refer to other nephews as nephews. I don't know of another Francis whose children these could be, though there could be one. I wonder if he is muddled in thinking of Francis' child Frances as a daughter rather than a son.
