(Age ~ 74 years) Mother Violet / Violetta LOWE OR JACKSON, b. Abt 1871, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England
, d. Mar Q 1932, Southwark Reg Dist, London, England
(Age ~ 61 years) Married Abt 1897 - From the 1911 census where shown as having completed 13 years of marriage.
The census shows that by then William and Violet had had 9 children but only 3 were still living (and all 3 were with them at the time of the census).
Between 1892 and 1911 there were only 9 children born with a mother's maiden name (mother's maiden name) of Lowe or Jackson together: 6 with mother's maiden name of Lowe, then 2 with Jackson, and last back to Lowe. The fact that Lowe was shown both before and after Jackson, and also that the 1911 census shows William and Violet as married 13 years suggests that both were surnames of the same person, Violet. Possibly one was from a previous marriage (most likely Jackson, as it was only used twice), or she was known by both names before her marriage (e.g. if her mother wasn't married when she born, Violet may have first used her mother's surname, then taken the surname of her father or step-father when her mother did marry).
(I have the birth / death details for the other 6 children, given that they were born between 1899 and 1909 and died by 1911 clearly none would have children of their own).
