with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born - Catalogue entry for a Chancery court case shows her father as Thomas Arundell, knight BUT shown as daughter of 'S.r John Arundell of Lanherne, Cornwall' in Fitzjames pedigree in Somerset vis, section added by Crisp, citing Bruton PRs, and in Arundell vis in Cornwall vis, p.5, Vivian, citing the College of Arms, but unlike her sisters not mentioned in her mother's will - but that could well be because she predeceased her mother rather than because the College of Arms have it wrong. However, Sir John, did have a brother Sir Thomas, who lived at Shaftesbury, and he was beheaded in 1553 - which fits the Chancery case description of Joan's father as 'attainted of felony'.
Checking the Bruton PRs, images now available on Ancestry, shows that there is no mention of either husband or father of the Joan buried in 1563-4! Given that we would expect her to be buried as a Bosgrave it was probably a different Joan Fitzjames buried in 1563/4.
Gender Female Died Yes, date unknown Buried - A 'Mres Joan Fitzjames was Buried' was buried in Bruton on 25 Feb 1563/64, but as this Joan seems to have married Leonard Bosgrave I don't believe it was the burial of this Joan.
