    Notes
    • (Research):Admon. for a Troilus Turbervile of Moredon was granted on to Anne, relict on 8 July 1609. (from list in Somerset & Dorset Notes & Queries)

Detailed research into the Brett family by the Rev. Brown includes him showing that Mary's daughter Ann was the wife of Nicholas Turbervile, murdered by John Morgan (and that Ann went on to marry Alexander Brett).
The Rev. Brown produced a tree showing that Nicholas and Ann had five children including a Troilus and a Cassandra.

I do not know if this is accurte, if there were 2 Troiluses and 2 Cassandras, or whether two families have become confused. Since Mary was married to William Stourton by 1575 she cannot have been married to the Nicholas who was murdered in 1579/80.

If there were 2 Troilues I do not know if it was this one or the son of Nicholas and Ann for whom admon. was granted in 1609.

    • In her will Mary refers to her Turbervile children, so would appear to have been married to a Turbervile. I don't know if this was before her marriage to Robert Morgan, or between her marriage to him and that to William Stourton.
