  Notes	The Joanne Glanville referred to as the younger in the will of her father, according to Chancery case ref. C 2/Eliz/G8/53  and also in the will of her brother Henry where also referred to as Joanne Luxson. The Chancery case makes it clear that it was Joanne the younger who married Edward Luxan.

  	I am guessing if Matthew had been married by 1545 he would be in the lay subsidy listing for that year, but he is not found there. Some examples I have seen of a person giving two sons the same name they were clearly sons with different mothers. I don't know if this was usually the case, nor whether it applied to daughters as well. If it was usual then it would seem probable that Matthew married twice. (Even if not indicated by having two daughters Joanne, it was quite likely at this time). In the absence of any information about wive(s) I am showing all the children as of one marriage.
