Oxford DNB shows that the Dean of Canterbury John Boys was the son of Thomas and Christian née Serlys, hence I am showing her husband as Thomas.
The ODNB also identifies this Thomas as the one who had a family in Eythorne and the burial of his wife Christian there seems to confirm the link is correct.
The memorial to Thomas also confirms the link.
According to the ODNB John was one of 10 children, and the memorial to Thomas describes them as having 6 sons and 4 daughters, but there are only 8 baptisms of Thomas's children there. Whilst the ODNB could be wrong or 2 baptised elsewhere, the most likely explanation is that the register only goes back to 1559 and with the earliest known baptism of a child of Thomas being in 1560 the missing 2 could well have been baptised before then.
The date is assuming that there were 2 children baptised before 1560.
