Date range assumed from his father's will implying his eldest brother Thomas had not reached the age of 26 when it was written (in 1518) and 2 younger brothers had been born by then.
Gender Male Will 10 Jan 1592/93 Written - Written when healthy, but recognising he could not live much longer. Although the date as written in figures at the start of the will is 1593, both the regnal year also recorded at the start and the year shown in a memorandum for an amendment and the probate year show that the year was 1592/93 not 1593/94.
Whether this was an error or whether Robert chose to record the year as though it had started on 1st January I do not know. (I have seen PRs from around this period in which the year was recorded as starting 1st January).

Father Henry ALLARD, d. Between 6 Aug 1518 and 28 Jan 1524/25 Mother Johane SERLYS, d. Abt 1536 Married - After leaving a bequest to his sister Alard, later in his will Johane's brother John left bequests to 'Thomas Herry and William the sonnes of Herry Alard' and then one to 'Alice Alard'. It seems probable that Herry the father was Johane's husband and the three sons therefore Johane's, and Alice also a child of Herry and Johane.
