John ANDREW
Set As Default Person -
Name John ANDREW Relationship
with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Gender Male Died Between 1489 and 1491 - * Probably * the John Andrew of Wye who wrote a will in 1489, proved 1491 (which I have yet to see)
Buried Bef 1505 Ss. Gregory and Martin’s Church, Wye, Kent, England
- From the will of his widow (who died as Agnes ROSE) it is clear he was buried inside the church. He must have died before Agnes remarried, which must have been by 1505 (the year her ROSE husband died).
Quite likely John died between 1489 and 1491, the dates when a John ANDREW of Wye wrote a will and it was proved.
For his soul 1511 Ss. Gregory and Martin’s Church, Wye, Kent, England
Masses - bequest of his wife, Agnes - In her will his wife, Agnes, bequeathed five marks for a priest, Master Payne, to sing masses "for me for John Andrew and for John Rose for the space of half a yere ... one quarter in the churche of Wye & the other quarter at his pleasure where he will". (John Rose was Agnes's husband after this John died)
