Witnesses Harry Court (presumably George's bro) and Ada ?(Hauexoil) Two sons by his second marriage according to his niece, my great Aunt Ivy; I guess she didn't know about the one who died in infancy (before Auntie Ivy was born).

  	GRO ref: q4 1922 2b 1634 I found a couple of poss marrs for Sidney (i.e. marrs of a Sidney T. Court). One was to a Dora Whitmarsh in Christchurch RD, 1922. I also have a photo of a baby "Douglas", taken in Frome, sent to Mary nee Beaton (died 1933) and addressing her as "grandma" - whether of Douglas or the writer is not clear, but I have no evidence of her having a grandson Douglas (and know of most if not all). The Sidney who married Dora Whitmarsh appears to have had 4 children, the first was Douglas b 1923 and whilst born in Portsmouth RD, the next 2 were born in Frome RD. This would seem to point pretty conclusively to this being the right marr.
