      Although the family were describes as 'of Charleton' when Elizabeth's siblings were baptised, and when her mother and sister were buried (in 1721 and 1730), both the burials were in Bere Ferrers and I suspect her father may have become schoolmaster there. Hence I think it likely the marriage was of this Elizabeth.
      There were no other Elizabeth's for whom Bere Ferrers was an obvious marriage place at this time, although the surname was not an uncommon one so some other could have decided to marry there. This Elizabeth's grandmother had been widowed in 1721, but in 1728 would have been aged about 74, and unlikely to marry again.
