I think it unlikely he was buried the day he died, and as it is clear that the inscription was added no earlier than 1801 I think the precise date cannot be trusted. "... There are also deposited in the same vault the remans of EDWD. DREWE (his 3rd. son) who died 26th. of April 1755 in the 14th. year of his age."
