Johannes CLARKE married Rebecca BLECHENDEN(East Kent marr index shows John Clark to Reb Blechenden)
Suspecting Rebecca was a widow when she married Robert Barling (as Robert treated a Frances Tonge, whose previous surname I think was Clark, in the same way he treated his own married daughters and named her after them before other bequests) I looked for a possible marriage.
I looked at all marriages in Kent 1584-1604 of a Clark & variants to a Rebecca (& variants) on FMP on 28 Mar 2016 (includes East Kent Marriage index, all KFHS CDs produced by then and FamilySearch). This was the only one to match and was in Headcorn, a likely location for a wife of Robert Barling to have been living.
