Father John WALROND, d. Yes, date unknown Mother Joan STOFFORD, d. Yes, date unknown Married - Shown in Vivian as from Burke's Landed Gentry. Not a reliable source, I don't think John or Joan can be trusted to be right at all. Several more generations are shown from the same source, mostly male line only, with very little information, it strikes me as so unreliable I am not adding.
That said, I have now found there is a collection of documents for the Walrond family of Bradfield in Uffculme, etc, covering the period C13th to 1904, held at the Devon Heritage Centre (Reference: 1926 B/W).
I look forward to seeing some of these when I have the time.
This certainly includes a lease arranged in 1465 involving John Walrond, esq. and Joan his wife, presumably this John and Joan, and in 1387 a William was Lord of the Manor of Bradfield.
