      "Elizabeth Ann, daughter of Gabriel & Elizabeth Pepperal of Halsands, born Sepbr. 13, 1822, & baptized Decbr. 15 in the same year, by me T. Mountford"
      Although her father's name is shown as 'Gabriel' in the baptism register, think this is an error because
      - I can find no other records of a Gabriel Pepperell
      - the family were shown as of Hallsands where Caleb and his family lived (not just at the time of the census, but when Caleb's wife was buried the year after Elizabeth's birth)
      - it is possible to imagine that Caleb could be mis-read as Gabriel on a note from which the register entry was made
      - the baptism was at Ford Chapel where other children of Caleb were baptised
      - the burial was in the churchyard of the Parish Church rather than that of Ford Chapel; her mother was also buried in the Parish Church churchyard  
      - although Caleb's brother Edmund was also living in Hallsands in 1822 he had a daughter Sarah born in Jan 1822 so is very unlikely to have had another born in Sept the same year; also his wife was Ann and the baptism entry shows the mother as Elizabeth
