    • Presumably the son of 'Thomas Alard of Sandeherst' who left a will written 1481, proved in the PCC in 1492, leaving to Henry lands in Sandherst and on the denne of Sponden (both mentioned in Henry's will), also land in Ikelsham.

    • After leaving a bequest to his sister Alard, later in his will Johane's brother John left bequests to  'Thomas Herry and William the sonnes of Herry Alard' and then one to 'Alice Alard'. It seems probable that Herry the father was Johane's husband and the three sons therefore Johane's, and Alice also a child of Herry and Johane.
