Father William PROWDE, d. Aft 1568 Mother Rose SERLYS, b. Est 1505, d. Aft 1568 (Age ~ 64 years) Married Aft 1517 - In his will Robert Serlys referred to his sister Rose Prowde and to his brother-in-law William Prowde. I have found nothing to suggest more than one sister may have married a Prowde so think William was probably Rose's husband.
In the will he also leaves a bequest to a Henry Prowde (mentioned after Rose) and to godsons John and Searlys Prowde.
I think all 3 were most likely sons of William and Rose.
Only evidence for date is that in his will, proved 1517, John Serlys referred to his sisters Agnes and Johane by their married surnames e.g. 'my sister Alard' but Rose is just 'my sister Roose' suggesting, though not conclusively, she was not married by then.
