Is the entry for Joanne and / or the first Marie correct? At a time when children were usually baptised with a day or two of birth, when a several month premature baby was unlikely to survive for long, and a woman was unlikely to become pregnant just after giving birth the baptisms of Joanne in late May 1604 and Marie in early December are surprising. Maybe one was the daughter of a different John, but if so a bit of a coincidence, because there aren't many Thatcher entries in Marden PRs - so what was the chance of a John from elsewhere having a child there just when another John was also having a family.

It is easy to imagine how Rachel in secretary hand could be mis-transcribed as Earsell, and I think that is what has happened here. The KFHS data also shows the marriage as being by licence, but not found in Cowper.
