A child of John Theacher was buried on 8 Mar 1614/5, but the PR has a blank space for the Christian name. Probably Joanne, not left a bequest by her uncle William Burr. Also no bequest to Mary, but she appears to have married before the will was written. Her uncle William may well have made a gift to her then, equivalent to what he would otherwise have left her in his will.

Is the entry for Joanne and / or the first Marie correct? At a time when children were usually baptised with a day or two of birth, when a several month premature baby was unlikely to survive for long, and a woman was unlikely to become pregnant just after giving birth the baptisms of Joanne in late May 1604 and Marie in early December are surprising. Maybe one was the daughter of a different John, but if so a bit of a coincidence, because there aren't many Thatcher entries in Marden PRs - so what was the chance of a John from elsewhere having a child there just when another John was also having a family.
