  • Name Katheren TAYLOR
    Relationshipwith Teresa Ann GOATHAM
    Born Abt 1625
    • Katheren was listed 3rd of daughters on her mother's gravestone, so probably younger than her sisters; not clear if born before or after John, so could have been born earlier, but not earlier than 1622.
(Although Katheren's mother, also Katheren, died in childbirth in 1625 it is not clear if a child died also - no burial but could have been still-born; in any case, this Katheren clearly could not have been born after 1625)

Family Boys OWER,   d. Abt Aug 1657
    Married Bef 1643
    • From Burke's History of the Commoners of Great Britain and Ireland, vol. IV, 1838 (view online)
Burke is not a reliable source - but a Chancery Court case confirms that Boys married a Katherine Tayler, a 'close kinswoman' / 'neece' of Sir John Honywood.

Burke shows Boys Owen, but it clearly should be Ower.
The bill in the Chancery Court case refers to an indenture between Katheren's uncle Sir John Honywood and Boys Ower and his wife Katheren dated the 1 June 1643, implying Boys and Katheren were married by then.
I think it is likely that this was drawn up around the time of the marriage, and so Boys and Katheren may well have married in 1643.
