  	Not with his family at time of the 1911 census; his wife Annie and 4 surviving sons were in 3 rooms at 7 Chandos Avenue, South Ealing. Where was Arthur? I suspect he was only temporarily absent. Auntie Ivy knew the family, mentioned both her Uncle Arthur and his wife Annie, but not that they had separated, and she would have known them after this date. Probably more significant is that Annie recorded her name in line 2 rather than 1 on the census form, and recorded her relationship to the head of the family as 'wife', not 'head'. There was an Arthur Court in Chiswick nr Brentford, married but a boarder and family not present, age given as 40 so close, but birthplace given as Putney, Surrey. (Occ - horse carman) (Having checked the 1881 and 1891 censuses there was an Arthur Court b Putney in 1875 so it was probably that one)
